The Story

Your looking at the real high country riders here, I got together 24 of our local snowy mountain bush riders one Sunday afternoon at Lake Jillamatong up into the Snowy Mountains. They still go out into the bush and search for brumbies and spend nights under the stars with here horses, rugged up in driza-bones with an open fire.  It was a privilege to be amongst them and the pride and skill of their horsemanship was incredible to watch. May the high country riders always be part of our rich heritage and I thank them for allowing me to capture and be apart of their lives.
